2020 Photo Workshops
Joe will be leading each and every 2020 Workshop and when available will be joined by his wife Diane. Joe and Diane are experienced teachers, instructors and guides who know the areas they visit and where and when to get the best photographs possible each day. Each of our workshops includes instruction on the entire process of creating better images both in the technical and creative sense.
With the exception of European Photo Tours, transportation and lodging are not included in the tuition, though we will make recommendations for each hotel we use. You book your room and pay for meals and entrance fees. We will arrange restaurants when appropriate and meeting rooms for classroom instruction when part of the workshop.
Our job is to help you capture the best images possible - we are always available and want to help make your photography experience both memorable and fulfilling!
May 4- 7, 2020 - Northeastern, PA Tuition $495
Just $495 for four days of individual instruction, touring and image composition combined with an image processing classroom!
There's something about flowing water that's hard to resist and as a photographer, learning how to create compositions that capture the beauty of the scene allows you to enjoy them forever!
Join photographer Joe Brady on this four-day exploration of woodland scenery and stunning waterfalls as we visit four different locations with an amazing variety of subjects.
We'll start at Ricketts Glen State Park in northeastern Pennsylvania. With 22 named waterfalls in this park alone, you could spend a week here photographing them all! Our first two days will be filled with hiking the trials that follows all of the beautiful cascades and also include an evening image editing and enhancement classroom session. This is a critical step to bring out the full beauty of the scenes we capture!
On day three, we head over to Milford Pennsylvania where three more locations await - Dingmans Falls, Raymondskill Falls and Shohola Falls. These three offer very different environments and provide a variety of viewpoints.
Since both technical skills and composition are important in this type of photography, you will be sure to get plenty of individual instruction in the field to help you capture the best photographs possible.
Tuition is just $495 for four days of instruction and inspiration featuring touring, technical challenges & tips and improving composition to create better photographs

Fall in southwestern Colorado is a place of rare beauty as the aspens turn from green to shimmering gold and Telluride is the best place we’ve even seen for these beautiful colors. But before we head over to Telluride, we’ll start our week off with the incredible Durango & Silverton Photo Train. This special train only runs two weekends each year and is designed specifically for photographers.
Throughout the days trip up into the San Juan mountains, the trains lets us off in beautiful scenery and then backs up around a turn. With a sound of the whistle, the train comes steaming back as we get shots that are truly unique in spectacular settings!
After spending Saturday and Sunday night in Durango, we’ll head over to Telluride. Imagine a beautiful western town in a box canyon surrounded on three sides by towering mountains. There are three “fourteeners” (14,000+ ft. mountains) including Mt. Wilson, Wilson Peak and Mount Sneffles along with a grouping equally majestic peaks featuring the beautiful Ajax Peak right at the end of Telluride’s main street.
We’ll photograph around the many beautiful viewpoints around Telluride as we spend two nights here. On Wednesday we’ll head northeast around the mountains past the Dallas Divide and Ralph Lauren ranch on the way to Ouray, CO - named the “Switzerland of the America”. We’ll photograph the scenery and perhaps take in the waterfall hidden in a canyon. An the way south back to Durango, we’ll stop along the way as we cross the Molas Pass at 11,000 feet and bask in the beauty of this scenic countryside. We’ll spend the night in Durango Wednesday night.
On Thursday we’ll have a breakfast wrap-up meeting and check out as we head out having enjoyed a spectacular week of scenery and photography. Transportation, Food and Lodging are not include. This trip does include two classroom sessions for image editing and enhancements. The photo train is optional at an additional $229 per person.
