Fall 2024
Grand Teton & Yellowstone Photo Workshop
October 13-18, 2024

Grand Teton October Composite.jpg

Joe has always said that if he were only allowed one place to photograph, it would be Grand Teton National Park. It doesn't;t get that its northern neighbor (Yellowstone!) gets, but the photography is simply amazing!

We will visit all of the iconic vistas including Mormon row, Schwabacher Landing, Oxbow Bend, String Lake and more. In fact, we will re-visit some of the locations based on the light and time of day. We will also take one full day to travel up to Yellowstone. We will travel around the park, stopping for scenic views and wildlife, while featuring the beauty of lower Yellowstone Falls.

We stay in Jackson, WY for this trip, which is convenient to both parks and has plenty of restaurants, shops and hotels to keep us comfortable and well fed. We'll open registration soon, so stay tuned!

Spring 2024
Cape Cod Lighthouses, Beaches & Islands
May 7-10, 2024

Cape Cod Spring 2022-2078-Edit-2.jpg

Cape Cod in May is a wonderful time of year for touring and photography. The weather is warm, the crowds haven't arrived yet and the photo opportunities abound!

We’ll tour the island and surrounding region to find the best spots to capture both the seashore and the wonderful diversity of Lighthouses in the area including Nobska Point, Chatham, Nauset and Highland Lights. We'll be staying at the Hyannis Travel Inn (where we have an incredible deal for the week!), which is near the mid-point of Cape Cod, so that we can venture out each day from a convenient location.

We choose our locations based on the weather and cloudscapes as we chase the best light possible, so we may adjust where we go each day based on the best photos available. We had such a great time on the out-islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard last year that we plan on visiting both again. We'll finish up by Friday lunchtime after starting the day exploring more of the Cape and finishing up with more great photos.

This trip is great for both photographers and non-shooters - everyone will enjoy the scenery, touring, shopping and wonderful food that Cape Cod has to offer!

Amazing Scenery, Great Weather and Wonderful Photography

Sedona - Page Photo Workshop

November 17-22, 2024 Tuition $1895
Sedona_2019-02954-Pano-Edit-3-Edit_edite
Join us for 6 days of amazing scenery as we explore the Red Rock Country of Sedona, AZ and the Canyonsand formations around Page, AZ. We visit iconic photo locations in and around Sedona including Cathedral Rock and take a Pink Jeep Tour to get to those places only visited by those with off-road 4x4 capabilities.

We meet in Sedona on Sunday afternoon, explore the area and prepare for our week of shooting. The iconic locations around Sedona wait for us on and we will make sure to visit as many as possible! As always, we’ll follow the light each day for the best landscape photography.

On Wednesday, on the way up to Page, we will visit to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a morning shoot, then continue north to Lake Powell. On Thursday, we will visit Lower Antelope Slot Canyon for some incredible photography and in the afternoon we will visit some of the beauty around the AZ-UT border.

Friday morning will start with a shoot at Horseshoe Bend and we finish up feeling inspired and rejuvenated!

For anyone interested, we will also organize a 2-day extension to photograph the Grand Canyon over the weekend - more details to follow.

This Workshop will have some easy hiking involved, with nothing too strenuous. Be prepared to climb up and down some ladders, and walk as much as a half-mile on relatively flat terrain.

Food, Lodging and transportation are not included, but we will make arrangements for a group rate at our headquarters hotel. Spouses and partners are welcome to join us for all of our touring at no extra charge!

Fall Foliage & Waterfalls - Eastern Pennsylvania!
October  28-30, 2024, Tuition $595

_DSC2611.jpg

Join us for a wonderful time photographing the waterfalls and forest scenes in and around the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Water Gap Recreational Are. The stars of the trip will be Dingmans Fall, Raymondskill Falls, Shohola Falls and Bushkill Falls along with some hidden gems and landscapes in the area around Milford, PA.  None of the locations require any serious hiking (though some steps and paths require up and downhill walking) and most are leisurely strolls through some beautiful scenery. We will break for lunch each day and have some great photography to share. The focus will be on composition to capture and create the best photos possible.

Spouses/partners are also welcome to join us at no extra charge, and we have also lowered the tuition for this Workshop as our expenses are less without the trip out to Ricketts Glen - is seemed better to pass that on to our photographers!
