Each of our workshops includes instruction on the entire process of creating better images both in the technical and creative sense, with a focus on composition.

With the exception of European Photo Tours, transportation and lodging are not included in the tuition, though we will make recommendations for each hotel we use. Durango-Telluride Composite_edited.png

If you are excited by the combination of amazing Fall Colors combined with beautiful mountain scenes, I can't think of a better place that the region around Telluride Colorado!

The Fall colors around Telluride, Ouray, Silverton and Durango are consistently at their best during this time of year and we have moved this trip back one week based on our experience here last year. We can expect to see plenty of shimmering, golden aspens against the deep greens of the pines in both the valleys and along the mountainsides.

Snow on the peaks is a possibility, and the landscapes all around the region are breathtaking. We will start with a trip on the Durango & Silverton railroad as it steams through the San Juan mountains (picture shown above!). We're adding a visit to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park as our hotel on the second part of this week is right nearby! Try to imagine 2,000 feet of sheer cliffs down to the river! This is an easy place to visit with amazing photographic payoffs!

Join us and experience stunning mountain vistas, intense falls colors , an incredible canyon and an iconic trip ride through the San Juan Mountains.

There is no real hiking during this trip as all of the viewpoints are close to where we park. The scenery is outstanding, and with the exception of train tickets, spouses/partners are welcome to join us at no extra charge!

Spring 2024
Cape Cod Lighthouses, Beaches & Islands
Dates Coming Soon!

Cape Cod Spring 2022-2078-Edit-2.jpg

Cape Cod in May is a wonderful time of year for touring and photography. The weather is warm, the crowds haven't arrived yet and the photo opportunities abound!

We’ll tour the island and surrounding region to find the best spots to capture both the seashore and the wonderful diversity of Lighthouses in the area including Nobska Point, Chatham, Nauset and Highland Lights. We'll be staying at the Hyannis Travel Inn (where we have an incredible deal for the week!), which is near the mid-point of Cape Cod, so that we can venture out each day from a convenient location.

We choose our locations based on the weather and cloudscapes as we chase the best light possible, so we may adjust where we go each day based on the best photos available. We had such a great time on the out-islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard last year that we plan on visiting both again. We'll finish up by Friday lunchtime after starting the day exploring more of the Cape and finishing up with more great photos.

This trip is great for both photographers and non-shooters - everyone will enjoy the scenery, touring, shopping and wonderful food that Cape Cod has to offer!

Sedona - Page Photo Workshop

November 12-17, 2022 Tuition $1895
Join us for 6 days of amazing scenery as we explore the Red Rock Country of Sedona, AZ and the majesty of the Grand Canyon. We visit iconic photo locations in and around Sedona including Cathedral Rock and take a Pink Jeep Tour to get to those places only visited by those with off-road 4x4 capabilities.

We meet in Sedona on Sunday afternoon, explore the area and prepare for our week of shooting. The iconic locations around Sedona wait for us on and we will make sure to visit as many as possible! As always, we’ll follow the light each day for the best landscape photography.

On Wednesday, on the way up to Page, we will visit to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a morning shoot, then continue north to Lake Powell. On Thursday, we will visit Lower Antelope Slot Canyon for some incredible photography and in the afternoon we will visit some of the beauty around the AZ-UT border.

Friday morning will start with a shoot at Horseshoe Bend and we finish up feeling inspired and rejuvenated!

For anyone interested, we will also organize a 2-day extension to photograph the Grand Canyon over the weekend - more details to follow.

This Workshop will have some easy hiking involved, with nothing too strenuous. Be prepared to climb up and down some ladders, and walk as much as a half-mile on relatively flat terrain.

Food, Lodging and transportation are not included, but we will make arrangements for a group rate at our headquarters hotel. Spouses and partners are welcome to join us for all of our touring at no extra charge!
