Ireland-Scotland-England Composite copy.jpg

Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

Join us on this special private tour designed for those who love taking pictures and their partners who just want a wonderful vacation experience! We all had such a wonderful time last time that we can't wait to get back and we’re excited to be able to offer this again to you.

Unlike standard tours where you are headed from place to place and on a strict timetable, we have our own private coach and guide. That allows us the freedom and flexibility to adjust our travels to get the most out of every place we visit. Having a smaller coach also means that we can get to places others simply can't manage. No rushing, no big busses - just our group in a comfortable and relaxing journey filled with beautiful sights, wonderful photography and leisure time to enjoy and explore.

We've adjusted our itinerary and added days to cut down on the hotels movements so that we can pack less and relax more in some great locations.

Our Itinerary

Come with us to experience Ireland like you've never seen it before! Join Joe Brady and Diane Bollen in a private motor coach as we explore the towns and landscape of southern Ireland for nine days. No big buses that can't get to those wonderful, out of the way places, no rushing, and the ability to make changes along the way when we come across something special. Our coach is all ours for the duration of the trip!

This is a custom tour designed for both photographers and non-shooters alike. For the photographers in the group, we will have photo ops and instruction as we tour the beautiful towns and countryside. There will be plenty of time to be enjoyed with the magic of Ireland, and Joe and Diane will be available at any time to talk photography.

While the photographers spend some time each day capturing great images, our driver and guide will share their great knowledge and experience in each place we visit. We will have plenty of time for visiting local attractions, shopping and exploring.

The trip starts in Galway and finishes in Dublin and will of course make time to tour the Guiness Storehouse and enjoy a magical pint! As we have our own coach and driver, we may make adjustments to how long we stay in each place. We want to take advantage of great light for the best photography and be able to stop should a spectacular sight present itself!

Though subject to some fine tuning, here's our planned itinerary:

Day 1 • The trip will begin in Galway. We will stay just a short stroll from the beautiful walking zone in downtown Galway. We'll tour the city and then settle in for the evening.

Day 2 • We'll take a ride into the countryside through Connemara and visit Kylemore Abbey to photograph the wonderful settings and reflections along the lake. Along the way we'll stop for both photos and sightseeing.

Day 3 -5 • We head south to Kerry via the charming seaside village of Doolin. We will also visit the beautiful Cliffs of Moher on the way. We'll stay in Killarney for three nights and use that as our base to head out each day for more sightseeing and photos. Killarney is also a beautiful town filled with great shops and restaurants so we make sure that there is plenty of time for taking it all in at your own pace. While in Killarney we'll head out each day and visit the Dingle Peninsula, The Ring of Kerry and more.

Day 6 •  On our 6th day, we head over to Cork for one night. We have stayed here on our last three trips and love both the hotel and the location. For one, it is right across the street from the Blarney Castle and its surrounding park. Even if you don't want to "kiss the rock", it is a wonderful place for photography and the grounds and castle are stunning. For those looking to do some shopping, the Blarney Woolen Mills is a huge, multi-story store filled with all manner of Irish Wool items. Diane and I always spend too much money there!

Day 7-8 • After a side trip to the impressive Rock of Cashel, we arrive in Dublin for two nights. While in Dublin, we'll visit the Guiness Storehouse and Tour Trinity College with the amazing Book of Kells. We will also plan a trip out to The Hill of Tara, located near the River Boyne This is an archaeological complex that runs between Navan and Dunshaughlin in County Meath, Ireland. It contains a number of ancient monuments and, according to tradition, was the seat of the High King of Ireland. We will get a wonderful taste of Irish Culture and Music this evening at The Irish House Party Dinner and entertainment with Irish dancers and musicians in an elegant Georgian setting.

Day 9 • Fly Home - or extend your trip!

The trip is limited to 18 (9 couples and/or mix of singles),

so reserve your spot soon!

What’s a Photo Tour?!

Photo Tours are vacations filled with beautiful Landscapes and Scenery and are designed for those who share a passion for photography and want a vacation they can share with their spouses or partners.

How Does It Work?

Each day will have time for photography exploration and instruction with two award-winning pros as we travel in our own private coach with an experienced local guide and driver. We’ll take in the sights, visit iconic locations, shop, dine and relax. Photography Instruction Available for All! It’s not unusual for half of the people on a Photo Tour to consider themselves non-photographers and that’s OK - enjoy the scenery, attractions, food and shopping! Our photography instruction is available to all (even if you just use your phone) and we often turn people into passionate photographers!

The Best of Both Worlds

Photo Tours offer plenty of time for photography within a wonderful vacation experience. Spouses and partners will never be bored and the entire group will share activities, attractions and sights together. Every Level of Experience From passionate smartphone shooters to working professional photographers may join us, and everyone will love the places we visit. Learn about better composition and seeing light, color and shapes, or just enjoy the sights - our goal is for you to return home with images you will want to share and cherish forever.

Singles Welcome Too!

We often have singles join us on our trips as the Photo Tour format provides photography, touring and sightseeing with a group of like-minded people. We’re a friendly bunch and are all out to have a great time.

Workshop & Tours Policies

These Terms and Conditions apply to workshops, photography tours, and other travel experiences operated by Dragonfly Studio, Inc., doing business as Land, Sea & Sky / Joe Brady Photography, referred to throughout these Terms as "Land, Sea & Sky," "we," "us," or "our."

The term participant includes photographers, non-photographer spouses or companions, and any other registered guest participating in a workshop or tour.

By registering for a workshop or tour and submitting a deposit or other payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Trip-Specific Terms

Each workshop or tour may have its own itinerary, price, deposit, payment schedule, cancellation deadlines, inclusions, exclusions, physical requirements, and other conditions.

The information provided on the individual trip registration page is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

If the payment schedule, cancellation policy, inclusions, exclusions, or other terms stated on an individual trip registration page differ from these general Terms and Conditions, the trip-specific terms will control.

2. Registration and Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve your place on a workshop or tour. The required deposit amount will be stated on the individual trip registration page.

Registration is not considered complete until the required registration information and deposit have been received.

Space is limited and registrations are accepted subject to availability.

Unless otherwise stated on the individual trip page, workshops and tours are intended for adults age 18 and older. Participation by anyone under age 18 requires prior written approval from Land, Sea & Sky.

3. Payment Schedule

Domestic Workshops

Unless otherwise stated on the individual workshop registration page, the full balance for a domestic workshop is due 90 days before the workshop start date.

International Tours

Unless otherwise stated on the individual tour registration page, the full balance for an international tour is due 150 days before the tour start date.

Failure to make the required final payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and loss of your place on the trip.

4. What Is Included

The price of each workshop or tour includes only those services and items specifically identified as included on the individual trip registration page.

Depending upon the trip, these may include photography instruction, accommodations, ground transportation, local guides, admissions, excursions, meals, or other services.

Do not assume that an item or service is included unless it is specifically listed as included on the trip registration page.

5. What Is Not Included

Unless specifically stated otherwise on the individual trip registration page, the following are not included:

  • Airfare or other transportation to and from the starting and ending locations of the trip

  • Travel insurance

  • Passport or visa expenses

  • Meals not specifically identified as included

  • Gratuities

  • Personal expenses

  • Baggage fees

  • Medical expenses

  • Transportation or accommodations resulting from early arrival, late departure, illness, missed connections, or other personal circumstances

  • Any other service or expense not specifically identified as included

Participants are responsible for all personal expenses and for arranging transportation to and from the designated trip starting and ending locations.

6. Participant Cancellation: Domestic Workshops

For domestic workshops, unless different terms are stated on the individual workshop registration page:

More than 90 days before the workshop start date:
All amounts paid will be refunded, less any payment-processing fees that are not refundable to Land, Sea & Sky.

90 days or fewer before the workshop start date:
Payments are non-refundable.

If we are able to fill your vacated space with another participant, we will refund the amounts paid, less a $150 administrative fee and any non-refundable payment-processing fees.

Whether a vacated space has been successfully filled will be determined by Land, Sea & Sky.

7. Participant Cancellation: International Tours

For international tours, unless different terms are stated on the individual tour registration page:

More than 150 days before the tour start date:
The deposit and other amounts paid will be refunded, less any payment-processing fees that are not refundable to Land, Sea & Sky.

150 days or fewer before the tour start date:
All payments are non-refundable.

At approximately this point, Land, Sea & Sky must commit substantial funds to international tour operators, hotels, transportation providers, guides, and other suppliers. Once these funds have been committed, we are generally unable to recover them if an individual participant cancels.

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, family emergency, travel disruption, changes in personal circumstances, or other unexpected events.

For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance as described in Section 12.

8. Transferring a Reservation

In certain circumstances, a participant who is unable to attend may be permitted to transfer their reservation to another qualified participant.

Any transfer:

  • Requires advance approval from Land, Sea & Sky

  • May require approval from the applicable tour operator, hotel, transportation provider, or other supplier

  • Is subject to availability and any supplier restrictions

  • May require payment of name-change fees, administrative fees, increased supplier costs, or other expenses associated with the transfer

Approval of a transfer is not guaranteed.

Payments made for one workshop or tour may not be transferred or credited toward another workshop, tour, or future trip, unless Land, Sea & Sky specifically agrees otherwise in writing.

9. Cancellation by Land, Sea & Sky

Land, Sea & Sky makes every reasonable effort to operate a workshop or tour once it has been confirmed.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop or tour because of insufficient enrollment or circumstances that make operation of the trip impossible, unsafe, illegal, impractical, or inadvisable.

If Land, Sea & Sky cancels a trip because of insufficient enrollment before significant non-refundable supplier payments have been made, payments received from participants for the trip will be refunded.

If cancellation results from circumstances outside our reasonable control after funds have already been committed to hotels, tour operators, transportation companies, guides, or other suppliers, refunds may be limited to amounts that Land, Sea & Sky is actually able to recover from those suppliers.

Land, Sea & Sky is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the trip, including airfare, airline change or cancellation penalties, independently booked accommodations, passports, visas, clothing, equipment, insurance premiums, or other travel-related expenses.

10. Do Not Purchase Non-Refundable Travel Until Your Trip Is Confirmed

Please do not purchase non-refundable airfare, lodging, transportation, or other travel arrangements until you have received written notice from Land, Sea & Sky that your workshop or tour has been confirmed to operate.

Even after a trip has been confirmed, we strongly recommend purchasing refundable or changeable travel arrangements whenever possible and protecting your travel investment with appropriate travel insurance.

11. Itinerary and Schedule Changes

Workshop and tour itineraries are planned in good faith based on the information and conditions available when the trip is designed.

Travel, photography, weather, transportation, and local conditions are inherently unpredictable. Land, Sea & Sky reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, photographic locations, accommodations, transportation arrangements, activities, guides, restaurants, or other aspects of a trip when circumstances reasonably require it.

Changes may be necessary because of weather, road conditions, closures, wildfire, natural events, transportation problems, government restrictions, safety concerns, supplier changes, photographic conditions, or other circumstances.

Substitutions may be made when an originally planned activity or destination becomes unavailable or inadvisable.

Changes to an itinerary do not automatically entitle a participant to a refund.

Photography opportunities are influenced by weather, lighting, seasonal conditions, wildlife behavior, access restrictions, and other circumstances beyond our control. Land, Sea & Sky cannot guarantee any particular photographic condition, subject, location, sunrise, sunset, wildlife encounter, or image opportunity.

12. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every participant purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

For international tours in particular, we strongly encourage participants to purchase coverage shortly after making their initial deposit so that the greatest range of cancellation protections may be available to them.

Depending upon your circumstances and the policy you select, travel insurance may provide protection for:

  • Trip cancellation

  • Trip interruption

  • Illness or injury

  • Emergency medical expenses

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Travel delays

  • Missed connections

  • Lost, delayed, or damaged baggage

  • Other covered travel disruptions

Participants are responsible for selecting an insurance policy appropriate for their individual needs and for understanding the policy's coverage, exclusions, deadlines, and limitations.

Land, Sea & Sky does not guarantee that a particular insurance policy will provide coverage for any specific event or circumstance.

International tour participants should understand that once the applicable non-refundable cancellation deadline has passed, Land, Sea & Sky cannot provide a refund because a participant becomes ill, is injured, experiences a family emergency, or is otherwise unable to travel. Travel insurance is the participant's primary means of protecting against this financial risk.

13. Passports, Visas and Travel Documentation

Participants are responsible for determining and satisfying all passport, visa, identification, immigration, entry, health documentation, and other travel requirements applicable to them.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that passports and other travel documents remain valid for the time period required by the countries being visited.

Land, Sea & Sky is not responsible for a participant's inability to travel because of missing, incorrect, expired, or insufficient travel documents or failure to meet entry requirements.

No refund will be provided for services missed because a participant is denied boarding, denied entry, or otherwise unable to participate because of documentation or entry issues.

14. Health, Mobility and Physical Requirements

Photography workshops and tours may involve walking, standing for extended periods, uneven terrain, stairs, early mornings, changing weather conditions, getting into and out of vehicles, boats or other transportation, and carrying personal or photographic equipment.

Important physical or mobility considerations will be described on the individual trip page when appropriate.

Each participant is responsible for reviewing the trip description and determining whether the trip is suitable for their abilities, health, mobility, and personal circumstances.

Participants should contact Land, Sea & Sky before registration if they have questions about accessibility or the physical demands of a particular trip.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and accommodate reasonable needs when possible, but we cannot guarantee that every location, vehicle, accommodation, activity, or destination will be accessible to every participant.

15. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for:

  • Arriving at designated meeting locations on time

  • Following reasonable instructions provided by trip leaders, guides, transportation providers, and local authorities

  • Making appropriate decisions regarding their own health and physical capabilities

  • Bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, medication, equipment, and personal supplies

  • Respecting local laws, customs, property, wildlife, other travelers, and members of the group

  • Behaving in a manner that does not jeopardize the safety or enjoyment of others

Participation in any optional activity is voluntary, and participants are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for them.

16. Participant Conduct and Removal

Land, Sea & Sky strives to create a friendly, supportive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone traveling with us.

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a workshop or tour if, in our reasonable judgment, the participant's behavior:

  • Creates a safety risk

  • Seriously disrupts the trip or the experience of other participants

  • Is abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or repeatedly disrespectful

  • Interferes with the ability of trip leaders, guides, drivers, hotels, or other providers to operate the trip

  • Violates applicable laws or reasonable trip rules

A participant removed for such conduct will not be entitled to a refund for unused portions of the trip and will be responsible for any additional transportation, lodging, or other expenses resulting from their removal.

17. Accommodations and Rooming

When a tour price is based on double occupancy, that information will be stated on the individual trip registration page.

Single rooms may be available for an additional single supplement, subject to availability.

Specific room types, bedding arrangements, hotel rooms, views, floors, or other accommodation requests cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.

Accommodations may be changed when operational circumstances require it, and comparable alternatives will be sought whenever reasonably possible.

18. Non-Photographer Spouses and Companions

Non-photographer spouses, partners, and companions are welcome on trips when the individual trip description indicates that companions may participate.

Unless otherwise stated, companions are subject to the same registration requirements, payment policies, cancellation policies, participant responsibilities, and Terms and Conditions as photographers.

Certain instructional activities, classroom sessions, or photography-specific portions of a workshop may be limited to registered photographers when specified in the trip description.

19. Unused Services, Late Arrival and Early Departure

No refund, credit, or reimbursement will be provided for portions of a workshop or tour that a participant chooses not to use or is unable to use because of late arrival, early departure, illness, injury, missed transportation, personal preference, or other individual circumstances.

Any additional transportation, lodging, meals, medical expenses, or other costs resulting from a participant's late arrival, early departure, illness, or interruption of travel are the participant's responsibility.

20. Third-Party Travel Providers

Land, Sea & Sky works with independent hotels, transportation companies, tour operators, guides, restaurants, boat operators, attractions, and other service providers in operating workshops and tours.

These businesses are independent entities and are not employees of Land, Sea & Sky.

Land, Sea & Sky will make reasonable efforts to select appropriate suppliers and address problems that arise, but we do not directly control the acts, omissions, schedules, staffing, equipment, policies, or operations of independent third-party providers.

21. Events Beyond Our Control

Land, Sea & Sky will not be responsible for delays, itinerary changes, interruptions, cancellations, additional expenses, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Wildfires

  • Floods

  • Public health emergencies

  • Epidemics or pandemics

  • Strikes or labor disruptions

  • War or threats of war

  • Terrorism or security concerns

  • Civil unrest

  • Government actions or restrictions

  • Border closures

  • Road or park closures

  • Transportation cancellations or disruptions

  • Supplier failure

  • Utility or infrastructure failures

  • Other events that make the planned trip impossible, unsafe, illegal, impractical, or inadvisable

When possible, Land, Sea & Sky will make reasonable efforts to modify the itinerary or arrange alternatives.

Participants remain responsible for personal expenses arising from unexpected delays or disruptions unless those expenses are specifically included in the trip or covered by the participant's travel insurance.

22. Assumption of Risk and Participant Waiver

Travel and outdoor photography activities involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

Participants may encounter risks associated with walking on uneven surfaces, weather, wildlife, traffic, transportation, water activities, remote locations, physical exertion, unfamiliar environments, and other conditions associated with travel and photography.

Participants may be required to review and sign a separate Participant Waiver, Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating in a workshop or tour.

These Terms and Conditions do not replace that separate agreement.

23. Payment-Processing Fees

Registration and payment platforms, credit card companies, banks, and other payment processors may charge transaction or processing fees.

If those fees are not returned to Land, Sea & Sky when a payment is refunded, the non-refundable processing fees will be deducted from the amount returned to the participant.

24. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a registration, making a deposit or other payment, or participating in a Land, Sea & Sky workshop or tour, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation and refund provisions applicable to their trip.

Participants are encouraged to retain a copy of these Terms and the individual trip registration page for their records.
