Joe's "Better Landscapes" Book is Now in Stock!
We are excited to announce the publishing of "Better Landscape: The Power of Composition in Landscape Photography". Think of this book as a printed version of joining Joe on a location workshop. There are explorations on what to look for when you are on location, how small details can improve an image, and how your photos will improve when you change your position just one or two steps.
The book is formatted as an 8.5" x 8.5" square so that the large images can be presented to you at up to 17" across. That way you get a better feeling of how the decisions made to create the image improved the composition of each photograph.

I've spent most of the last twenty years full-time in the photography business and exclusively as a photographer for the past five. I'm a writer, workshop leader, video producer and passionate about my photography, both portrait and landscape. While this site is dedicated to Landscape Photography, I will be adding a site for portrait work as well.
